Presented to WSP Fire Engineering (London office) on our PAS 7 work. Good feedback and knowledgable audience.

Just delivered a presentation on risk and resilience to the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management in London.

Last weeks internal HTM Fire Code course went well. Our ongoing involvement in Healthcare premises provides interesting work for the team.

Our systems were audited by Warrington Certification last week and we successfully maintain our FRACS certification.

The Fire & Rescue service attended 624,000 fires or false alarms in Britain during 2010 - 2011.

There were 306 deaths in dwellings in 2010 - 2011. 268 were of accidental causes such as careless disposal of cigarettes!

Working collaboratively with our friends at CS Todd & Associates we provided Approved Document B / BS 9999 Training for Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service.

BB7 and CS Todd Associates have complimentary strengths and worked exceptionally well together when delivering a 7 day training course on Fire Safety codes and standards to fire safety officers at Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service. Course topics included; designing fire safety into atria buildings, designing fire safety into shopping malls, Introduction to Fire Safety Engineering, An introduction to Smoke Control, and much much more. We brought the course to life by including case studies of real developments we had worked on and tackling the very latest hot topics in fire safety.

BB7 were the first company in the United Kingdom to obtain Quality Assurance Certification of Companies Offering Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Services. BB7 has demonstrated to Warrington Certification, technical and management competencies to undertake life safety fire risk assessments as required by, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and The Fire Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 and is now listed as a certified company.
